Join Guest Club’s International Curatorial Associate to consider the motivations that drive passionate collectors to build their collection. How does one go about choosing artists within the infinite artistic positions that we come across in art fairs, museums and on the web? How does one collect on a budget and where do you draw the line between risk and investment?

Our talk explores key parameters, ranging from art market analysis to examples of collectors approaches and precious tips to guide you in your unique collection journey.

Guest Club founder and director, Alana Kushnir will take you on a journey from the late 1960s to the present day, exploring iconic works by American conceptual artists Sol Le Witt and Dan Flavin, as well as some of the key court cases surrounding the authenticity of artworks by Andy Warhol and Jean Michel Basquiat. The masterclass will also cover the problematic uses of certificates of authenticity in the context of sales of Indigenous Australian art, and the technological advancements shaping the future of this intriguing document.

The Sydney Biennale Rīvus premiered on 12th March 2022, curated by Artistic Director José Roca. The theme of water runs through the show and highlights the intersections between the artistic and natural worlds. Contemporary british art scene with frieze nO.9

Join Guest Club’s Associate Director Cornah Willis for an evening masterclass on the Contemporary British Art Scene. Focusing on London’s historic Cork Street in Mayfair, Cornah will “visit” the 18th-century Georgian buildings to create an exclusive experience for Guest Club. Cornah has curated a selection of artworks from Goodman Gallery, Flowers Gallery, Frieze No.9 Cork Street and more. The Masterclass highlights emerging and established artists being exhibited on the prestigious Burlington Estate.
