Australia has been represented at the La Biennale di Venezia since 1954 by many distinguished contemporary visual artists, including Emily Kngwarreye, Howard Arkley, Bill Henson, Tracey Moffat, Shaun Gladwell and more. La Biennale di Venezia provides Australian artists with critical international coverage, exposing them to key new audiences, markets and contexts.
