d’Orsay.
Held last Saturday, the Guest Club Online Masterclass: Introduction To Digital Art is now available in your Masterclass Library. We think this is a great opportunity for you to brush up on your knowledge of digital art and, for those in Melbourne, a good way to enjoy your free time during Lockdown 4.0.
Hosted by Guest Club Founder Alana Kushnir, the program covers the brief history of digital art – all 150 years that is! You’ll learn about how impressionist painter Monet is an important precursor to computer art, net.art, post-internet art and even blockchain art.
Last weekend, we also held a tour of the online NFT exhibition Pieces of Me. While the tour was not recorded, we highly recommend that you explore the show as it presents a ‘critical survey of the past, present and future of digital art.’ There are forty-nine artists and plenty of art to see! All pieces are available for purchase as NFTs, and some also come with physical objects. Get in touch if you’d like further information on artists and artworks, and if you need, how to set up a crypto wallet.
We hope you enjoy it!
